Google is Offering Nexus 6P Owners Pixel XL as Replacement due to the issues Nexus 6P owners are facing. Nexus 6P is one of those phones who hasn’t been able to combat the test of time very well as the phone is randomly shutting off due to continuous battery issues.

The customers who have bought the phone from the Official Google Store have reported success not only with getting Nexus 6P replaced, but replaced with a Pixel XL.

For months, various reports have come where 6P owners have got Pixels back from Google, but now it is seen that it is really happening in some places. The customers who are exchanging the Nexus 6P in the US and Canada have a really high chance of getting a Pixel XL.

Where as in places like Uk, people are still receiving refurbished Nexus 6ps. And everyone in Australia is still getting a 6P back. The 64GB variant of 6P is likely to be replaced by a 128GB variant of Pixel XL, on the other hand, some are being offered a 32GB XLs.

The upgrade to the Pixel XL seems to differ in different scenarios. The 64GB variant of 6P is likely to be replaced by a 128GB variant of Pixel XL, on the other hand, some are being offered a 32GB XLs. The upgrade to the Pixel XL seems to differ in different scenarios.

Google is even overlooking the phones which are outside the original 1-year warranty & replacing the defective phones. Another thing to remember is that Google is doing the replacement for the phones that are bought from the Google Store only.

Replacement devices will be sent out as an “advance exchange,” so you get it before mailing the old phone back. Google will do a pre-authorization on your credit card in the amount of the replacement phone. Make sure you send the old one back to avoid being charged.

Google is showing great credibility by providing a substantial amount of support & customer service with this and free repairs for those affected by the hurricane.

The 6P’s warranty was actually run through Huawei except for Google Store which handles the warranty for people who buy from them directly.

Right now, it seems to be a Google Store replacement only for the devices purchased from them.
